A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. Cookies can remember your preferences, help the site work properly, or tell the owner how many people visit and which pages they read.
Cookies can be first-party (set by the website's owner) or third-party (set by another company, such as an analytics tool). They can also be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent ones (which stay for a set period).
Similar technologies exist too, such as your browser's local storage, which do much the same job. Wherever this policy says cookies, we mean all of them.
This website uses Google Analytics 4 analytics cookies, and only if you accept them. There are no advertising cookies, no social media pixels and no profiling of any kind.
Until you press "Accept" on the notice that appears when you arrive, no analytics cookie is set and no connection to Google is made at all. If you refuse, or simply close the notice without choosing, the site carries on working exactly as before and we do not measure you.
We also use a second measurement tool, Ahrefs Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and cannot identify you: it only counts visits in aggregate. For that reason, under article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI, it does not require your consent.
It is worth knowing that the server hosting the site, located in Spain, automatically records technical connection data (such as your IP address, the date and the time), as any internet server does. That is not a cookie and does not require your consent, because it is essential to display the site to you and keep it secure. We explain this more fully in our Privacy policy.
Google Analytics 4 is a measurement tool that helps us understand how many people visit the site and which pages they find useful, so that we can improve it. It does use cookies, which is why we ask your permission before switching it on.
The first time you visit you will see a notice with two equally prominent options: accept or refuse. No analytics cookie is set and no Google file is downloaded until you press accept. Refusing takes a single click, exactly the same effort as accepting, and the site carries on working the same: you lose no feature and no content by saying no.
Your choice is remembered for twelve months so we do not ask again on every visit, and you can change it whenever you like from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. After those twelve months we will ask you again.
We will never set advertising or profiling cookies without first explaining it in this policy and asking for your consent.
The cookies below are only set if you give your consent on the notice. Durations may change if Google alters its settings; if so, we will update this table.
For users in the European Economic Area, Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), acting as our processor.
Google may transfer data to the United States, where some of its infrastructure and that of its parent company sits. That transfer relies on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC is certified, backed up by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
We have the tool configured with the most protective settings available: advertising features and data sharing with other Google products are switched off. Google Analytics 4, by design, does not store your full IP address: it uses it to infer an approximate location and then discards it. We never use Google Analytics to identify you personally.

If you accepted and later think better of it, you can withdraw your consent with the same effort it took to give it; when you do, we delete from your browser any analytics cookies that had been set. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of measurement carried out beforehand, but from that moment on we will stop setting analytics cookies.
